TOWER MODEL 1858 RIFLE. Cal .577. 39” round bbl. Dated 1863 on the lock. It has a nipple protector with brass chain attached to the rear sling screw. NSN. CONDITION: Gray patina with light pitting overall, slightly heavier at the breech. Several initials have been carved into the wood. There are repairs at the wrist and in front of the lock. Another break on the left side of the stock has not been repaired. Lock is fine. 4-49669 FS79 (650-1,000)
