HARPER’S FERRY MODEL 1855 RIFLE MUSKET. Cal .58. 40” part oct bbl. Dated 1858 on lock and bbl. The cartouches on the left side of the stock are visible but not readable. NSN. CONDITION: Bbl has been ground but not polished and some severe pitting remains. Moderate to heavy pitting on the lockplate, buttplate and trigger guard. Wood has numerous dents and dings with some gouges in front of the lockplate and has been varnished. Lock is fine mechanically. Nipple has been replaced. 4-49667 FS81 (800-1,200)
