HARPER’S FERRY MODEL 1855 RIFLE MUSKET. Cal .58. 40” part oct bbl. Dated 1858 at the rear of the lockplate. All markings have been removed from the rear of bbl. The rear sight and ramrod are replacements. The nipple is missing from the patchbox. NSN. CONDITION: All parts have been cleaned, polished and a coat of varnish applied but pitting remains on the metal and light cracks, dents, etc. on the wood. Lock works fine. 4-49922 FS61 (500-1,000)
