She carries fur bead decorated carrying cradle with small child. 10-1/2” hide covered kayak with carved paddle accompanies lot. PROVENANCE: Estate of Dr. and Mrs. Stanwood Schmidt of Eureka, CA. Comes with printed provenance “Sam Mitchell was a Humbolt supervisor for many years-related to the Carson family. These Eskimo dolls and canoe were gifts to him from his fathers, Sleffington, who bought claim #1 in the Yukon”. SIZE: 14” h.
