CONVERTED SPRINGFIELD MUSKET. Cal .69. 42-1/8” bbl. Dated 1827 on the tail of the lockplate and 1862 on the Hewes & Phillips breeech plug. No inspector marks remain. NSN. CONDITION: All metal bright except the rear sight which is blue. There is some light scratching on the lockplate and hammer. Wood has been cleaned and lightly sanded but not refinished.
