GOOD PAINTED PINE BLANKET CHEST DATED 1826. Six board blanket chest has original blue/green paint with front large mustard colored wreath with initials “GT 1826”. A decorated front bottom border in the same color. The top has been turned with the original paint down due to a broken hinge area. Fitted with caster feet. Found in Wells, Maine. SIZE: 21-1/2” h x 42” l x 16-1/2” d. CONDITION: As noted above. Good. 9-25453 (500-800)
