EDGAR WHITEFIELD JENNEY (American, 1869-1939) “THE JENNEY DINING ROOM, NANTUCKET, MASS”. Nice watercolor shows an interior dining room setting with round table set for dinner, four chairs, a sideboard and large hutch adorned with colorful china. Housed in a black wood frame with double matte having watercolor highlights. Unsigned, title on back. In 1927 Jenney retired to Nantucket where he taught art and painted primarily in watercolor with some of his works reproduced in lithographs. SIGHT SIZE: 8-3/4” x 11-1/2”.
