REMINGTON ZOUAVE RIFLE. Cal .58. 33” round bbl. Dated 1863 on the lock and bbl tang. The nipple is missing from the patchbox. Sharp “BH” and “GP” inspector cartouches on the left side of the stock. NSN. CONDITION: Generally very good with 85% thinning blue mixed with scattered light surface rust and pitting on bbl. Very faded casehardening colors on the lock and gray brown patina on the hammer. Wood has mildew spotting on the butt and some heavy scrape marks on the flat opposite the lockplate. Lock is fine. 4-49655 FS115 (1,750- 2,750)
