FINE CLASSICAL MAHOGANY AND GILT SEWING STAND. Highly figured rich mahogany veneers and gilt trim as well as gilt and ebonized legs and supports. The lift hinged lid has inset oval mirror and opens to reveal a segmented compartmentalized interior having four covers with ivory pulls. The frieze supports a long drawer and wooden sewing bag. The spiral and leaf carved leg supports are gilt with ebony trim. Four scroll feet with center ring turned stretcher. SIZE: 30-1/2” h x 20-1/4” w x 16” d. CONDITION: Very good. 9-28031 (3,500-4,500)
