RARE 18TH CENTURY SETTLE BED. The back having three recessed panels with molded edge, two curved and carved down sloping arms. The sides fitted with single panels. All in original reddish brown finish. The settle’s seat tilts forward and when open provides a 36” x 64” sleeping compartment. Two hooks at back of seat hold seat in position. SIZE: 37-1/2” h x 70-1/2”w x 23”d. CONDITION: Hinges replaced, wear to paint, generally good. 9-72259 (4,000-6,000)
