COLT SPECIAL MODEL 1861 RIFLE. Cal .58. 40” part oct bbl. Dated 1863 on lock and bbl. There are some numbers stamped in the wood behind bbl tang. The cartouches are covered with varnish and are unreadable. NSN. CONDITION: Metal surfaces have been cleaned to bright and all show light scratches. Wood does not show much use but has been varnished. Action is good. 4-49746 FS78 (1,000-1,500)
