EARLY WALNUT GATE-LEG DINING TABLE. Oval top with six legs has box stretcher and two swing-out leg supports that hold the semicircular leaves. Nice bold turnings in a rugged table. Carved skirt. Possibly Pennsylvania origin. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Hampshire home. SIZE: 28” h x 46” d x 54-1/2” opened; 20” closed. CONDITION: Top has stains and shows use with a 1/4” splice down middle, otherwise very good. 9-72775 (2,000-3,000)
