NEW YORK EMPIRE MARBLE TOP PIER TABLE. Replaced rectangular white marble top rests on a mahogany veneered case supported by two front white marble columns terminating with gilt capitols supported by a lower cutout shelf which is supported by two carved claw feet with decorative serpent and fruit carving which extends along the cutout shelf. The back is supported by a wood frame, which holds a replaced mirror. Each side of the mirror has white tapered flat columns. Back legs are turned wood. SIZE: 35-1/2” h x 18” d top x 36-1/2” w. CONDITION: Restored, regilt in very good condition. 9-94466 (4,000-6,000)
