MAGNIFICENT DETAILED CARVED AND PAINTED PAIR OF TEAL BY T. J. HOOKER. This magnificent pair of Teal with glass-set eyes have carved wing and tail featheration and exquisite detailed painted decorations overall. The underside branded by Hooker as well as signed by him and dated, “NOVEMBER 1972”. Hooker is a very well known decoy carver and copies of his original carvings such as this have been molded and for a long time, sold through the North American organization, “Ducks Unlimited”.
