FOUR DRAWER CHERRY HEPPLEWHITE CHEST. Carved skirt on square legs having four drawers each fitted with replaced oval hardware. Attached to the bottom of one drawer is the family history. It was purchased by Mary Clark who married Edward Brown. The bureau was bought in 1816 with an interesting history of the method or earning money to purchase the chest. SIZE: 37” h x 40” w x 17-1/2” d. CONDITION: Splice repair to left leg. Nice old finish. 9-25774 (750-1,250)
