PAIR OF CONNECTICUT FEDERAL MAHOGANY DINING ARMCHAIRS. Pierce carved back splat with urn decoration. Serpentine top, scroll carved arms with curving carved arm supports. Slip seats, tapered square legs with square stretchers. Reupholstered seats in striped fabric, curved and shaped back stiles. For a similar chair construction see 2315 in “Furniture Treasury by Wallace Nutting”. SIZE: 39-3/4” h x 23-1/2” across arms x 17” to top of seat rail. CONDITION: Refinished with repairs, one back splat missing small upper section. Otherwise very good. 9-70167 (1,000-2,000)
