MUZZIO ORGAN WORKS HURDY GURDY. Ca. 1920’s. 23-key organ from Muzzio Organ Works, Glen Rock, NJ plays 31 violin and flute pipes in front and bottom. Front of case has decorative inlay and marquetry with mother of pearl and embossed image of Victorian lady. “Muzzio-Park Row, N.Y.” stenciled on front. 7-tune pinned cylinder. Nice hardwood case with beveled brass corners. Original paper label stating tunes and company info on underside of flip-top lid. SIZE: 17″ l x 18″ h x 15-1/2″ (incl. crank). CONDITION: Plays beautifully, great hurdy gurdy sound. Very good in what appears to be the original finish. Replaced leather straps and wooden bottom frame. 1-28761 (4,500-6,000)
