HAROLD LLOYD BUMPER CAR. Ca. 1920s. Scarce wind-up toy featuring the bespectacled silent film star sitting in an early bumper car. Brightly lithographed and highlighted with fancy ornamentation, this German made tin character vehicle jounces and jostles in a comical fashion. SIZE: 5″ l x 5-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Some slight rust on one side of Harold’s face. Some edge wear on bumper car, otherwise in very good condition. 1-5485 (1,500-2,500)
