HOMER DODGE MARTIN (American, 1836-1897) “AUTUMN-ADIRONDACKS”. Oil on canvas landscape scene shows sloping mountains with fall foliage trees in foreground. Two red trees and a yellow green bush. This is all seen next to a small pond with rock shore. Signed lower right “HD Martin”. Housed in a period carved gesso decorated gold frame with name plaque and title. SIZE: 11-1/4” x 10-1/4”. CONDITION: Relined, places on new stretcher with unique I.A.C. Spring Stretcher. Restored with some inpainting. 9-96971 (3,000-4,000)
