LOT OF 2 BISQUE SOCKET HEAD DOLLS. Ball jointed composition dolls, both Handwerck. 1) 16″ brown sleep eyes, open mouth, pierced ears, blonde clipped wig. Incised “Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig Germany”. Body stamped in red “Germany”. CONDITION: Small crack at rim, otherwise very good. 2) 23″ Handwerck. Bisque socket head, ball jointed body. Blue sleep eyes, open mouth, pierced ears (slight chipping at ear hole). Incised “DEP Germany Handwerck Halbig 4-1/2”. Body stamped in red “Heinrich Handwerck Germany”. CONDITION: Minor chipping at thighs and at compo neck socket, otherwise very good. 28280-40 (350-550)
