GEORGE III LADDERBACK ARM CHAIR. Back fitted with four graduating shaped horizontal slats and a rounded shaped crest with two knob finials. Shaped arms are supported by boldly turned supports, which extend to the front pad Queen Anne type foot. Ring and bulge turned front stretcher. Double box stretcher on sides and back. A fine example of this form with a nice consistent patina. SIZE: 41-1/2” h x 18” seat h x 22” across front. CONDITION: Fine replaced rush seat, otherwise very good. 9-25189 (400-800)
