SIGNED (European, 19th Century) WINTER ON THE ICE. Oil on canvas scene shows five people on snow/ice covered ground. A woman appears to be washing clothes, two figures are fishing with three other figures. A house is seen with snow topped roof, surrounded by trees. Light etched signature bottom right illegible. Housed in an old partial gilt and white lined frame. SIZE: 15” x 18”. CONDITION: There are several large patches to the back of the canvas with corresponding inpainting. Good. 9-29848 (400-800)
