EXCEPTIONAL LARGE HUBLEY BAND WAGON. This item is perhaps one of the finest toys that can stand alone in any toy collection. It contains a highly ornate carriage containing 8 musicians and a driver being drawn by four plumed horses. This particular toy descends from the original owner (Williamsport PA area) who had this toy as a child and passed it along to his daughter. The carriage itself has a young girl playing a trumpet; a multitude of curlicues cast into the sides along with musical harps and emblazoned on the back is the US shield with an eagle astride. This toy is in 100% original condition, still retaining its chains to the horses and all four plumes. Provenance is available to successful bidder. SIZE: 30″ l.
