RARE IVES WALKING SANTA CLAUS. Outstanding early American interpretation of the European Father Christmas dressed in brown fabric with white trim and collar. Has pack of toys on back including china doll. Wood and iron body with cast iron feet on wood rollers, cast lead hands and head. Wind him up and watch him go. SIZE: 9 3/4” t. CONDITION: Some minor flaking to hood and face. Clothes are old, but pants may not be original. Overall very good to near excellent and working. 1-5891 MC (4,000-4,500)
