BARNETT PERCUSSION CARBINE. Cal .577. 23” round bbl. A large oval on the right side of the stock is marked “BARNETT / GUNMAKERS / LONDON”. “BARNETT / LONDON” is marked on the lockplate. This is the same shape and style as the Tower Model 1842 carbine but made for the civilian market. NSN. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 90% of the brown on bbl, 75% of the blue on bbl band but only faint traces of casehardening on the lock and hammer. Wood has numerous tiny dents and scratches but is still solid. Lock is fine. 4-49934 FS41 (500-800)
