SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1847 CAVALRY MUSKETOON. Cal .69. 26” round bbl. Dated 1848 on the lock and 1850 on bbl. Faint “APB” cartouche on the left side of the stock. NSN. CONDITION: Very good with gray brown patina mixed with light pits on bbl, smooth gray on lock and hammer. Brass has a mellow patina. Stock has been lightly sanded and reoiled. Mechanically fine. 4-49750 X66 (2,500-4,000)
