LARGE CALLIGRAPHY: LEAPING STAG. Calligraphy depicts a bold, large leaping stag. Beneath it in a highly flourished script “Penmanship”, in upper right “with a steel pen by C. W. Yerington, St. Louis, Mich.” In upper left corner “To Marie Meyers, student of Yerington College. March 12, 1921”. SIZE: 22 3/4” w x 17 3/4” h, includes frame. CONDITION: Generally good. Overall toning to paper: Lower left has a few small holes which appear to be insect damage and a couple of small water stains far below the image. 9-96929 (800-1,200)
