Lock and hammer are from an 1864-dated Springfield and it has a 2-pc trigger guard with a steel buttplate without trap. NSN. CONDITION: Fine, the iron retains a dark attic patina with fine pitting overall heavy on the trigger guard and buttplate. Seldom encountered Civil war oddity. 4-49456 JR224 (400-600)
