IVES HORSEHEAD PERAMBULATOR. A charming as well as highly sought after clockwork toy; manufactured by the renowned Ives Blakeslee Company of Connecticut. This particular version has a boy propelling the perambulator forward by using the wooden sticks to turn the rear wheels. In all original, very fine condition this toy was purchased several years ago from the original descendants of a Massachusetts estate. The toy has a tin horse head and still retains a partial paper label on rear of toy. SIZE: 8″. CONDITION: Very fine original condition with some minor overall wear. 1-6354 JL (14,000-18,000)
