POLL PARROT SHOES STORE DISPLAY. Fabulous 3-D mechanical in-store display consisting of a monumental sheet of heavy cardboard, which has been cut out and painted Dr. Seuss with an illustration of a storybook village. The electrified mechanism provides movement to the bear’s arm and the chimpanzee’s head. Ca. 1950. SIZE: 96″ l x 36″ t x 7-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Electrical relays and spring mechanism included, but unsure of its operational ability, currently not working. Perimeter edges of display have various chips, dings creases, but otherwise in very good condition. 1-29130 (600-1,500)
