G. PASCAL (American, 1832-1903) BEDOUIN OASIS. Oil on canvas scene shows a young Gypsy girl playing a mandolin while seated in a large thrown type chair. She wears a red dress with white sleeves and top. She wears a pink and yellow rose at top of red dress. A pink ribbon is tied to the top of the instrument. Signed middle right “G. Gutgeman” which possibly could be Gustave Gutgeman. Housed in a magnificent gesso decorated gilt original frame. SIZE: 26” x 20”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-70045 (700-1,000)
