GEORGE I CARVED GILT GESSO NARROW PIER MIRROR. The upright two part bevel mirror plate within a narrow frame carved with leaf-tips, surmounted by a shell carved crest. PROVENANCE: Mallett, London. Woolworth Collection. SIZE: 43” x 10-1/2”. CONDITION: The top left corner has separation where backboard has curved. In need of restoration at that point. Both mirror plates are intact and frame is all present. 9-99926 (5,000-10,000)
