INCREDIBLE LIFE SIZE BLACK FOREST CARVED FIGURES. Swiss or German made seated on a bench next to her bow with mandolin. The figures are literally carved life-size of wood and are very detailed. The lady with a dress having carved rose and lots of fringe. Gentleman, whose shorts and suspenders, carved with ornamental design. Facial features are well constructed and musculature of the legs is very realistic. Some of the original old paint is still intact. SIZE: Approx. 53″ t x approx. 36″w.
