TWO PART CURLY MAPLE QUEEN ANNE HIGHBOY. Mid18th century of Rhode Island origin. The flat top highboy has cornice molded top. The upper section has two side by side drawers over three drawers with attached bottom molding. Replaced brasses. The bottom section having one long drawer over three side by side drawers. The case with a deep carved and undulating skirt with central drop all raised on well carved pointed slipper foot cabriole legs. By or in the manner of Christopher Townsend of Newport, RI.
