EARLY BLOWN PONTIL JAR. This early blown jar w/fitted pewter screw-on lid had an open pummel mark on base and retains what appears to be an original French paper label titled, “IMPERIAL PRUNES”. Ribbed molded design and the reverse of the bottle embossed, “ABUFOUR & COMPANY BORDEAUX”. SIZE: 8-1/4″h. CONDITION: Generally very good. Paper label faded and rubbed but still intact. 9-96963 (225-325)
