ATTRIBUTED TO GEORGE WILLOUGHBY MAYNARD (American, 1843-1923) GIRL IN WHITE DRESS. Oil on board scene depicts a young woman in white flowing dress standing in a painted panel with two shades of mottled brown. She holds her dress slightly up in dancing mode. Unsigned but consignor has told us that it was signed on the back of the paper which is now missing. Back decorated in copper and gold leaf which is similar to the edging of the painting. Housed in its original gilt decorated wood frame. SIZE: 19-1/2” x 10-1/2”. CONDITION: Good, some light scrapes. 9-70337 (500-1,000)
