PIERRE JOSEPH TOUSSAINT (Belgian, 1822-1888) SHARING THE PORRIDGE. Oil on mahogany panel scene shows a young child seated on a step holding a bowl of food and a spoon which is being offered to a seated dog. They sit in front of a wood building and is signed lower right and dated “1867”. Housed in a fine reproduction gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: CONDITION: Very good.
