FINE SET OF SIX ENGLISH LINCOLNSHIRE LADDERBACK SIDE CHAIRS. Assembled set comprising of four late 18th Century Spilsby, Lincolshire, Circa 1800 side chairs (PROVENANCE: Timothy D. Wilson) and two similar, probably 19th Century side chairs. The backs fitted with five graduated carved and shaped horizontal slats, rush seats, front turned and cabriole style legs, front turned stretchers and box stretchers elsewhere. Replaced rush seats. A very nice serviceable set. SIZE: 36” h x 17-1/2” seat h x 17-1/2” across front. CONDITION: Very good. 9-25176 (1,200-2,400)
