MINIATURE ON IVORY AND AUTOGRAPH OF NAPOLEON BONAPARTE. 1) Unsigned miniature. Scene shows Napoleon seated in a striped upholstered armchair at table with quill pen, inkwell and letter. He wears a green and white uniform with tall black boots. Housed in a small brass frame. Back paper has writing in pen which is illegible. SIZE: 3-1/4” x 2-1/2”. Overall is 3-1/2” x 3”. CONDITION: Some loss of paint to right side, otherwise good. 2) Autograph is on a 5” x 3-1/2” piece of printed paper “Le Premier Consul, Par Le Premier Consul: Le Secretaire d’Etal,” Signatures includes that of “Bonaparte” and his Secretary which is illegible.
