UNSIGNED (Chinese School, 19th Century) “BARQUE MUSKOKA”. Fine oil on canvas ship portrait of the four-mast black hulled ship Muskoka. It shows the ship sailing left to right in wavy ocean with several other boats off bow and stern. Ship flies the British flag off the stern and other flags at the top of each mast. Housed in a good gilt wood replacement frame with name tag. An N R. Omell label is affixed to reverse indicating that this was No. 25 in their 1986 annual marine exhibition. SIZE: 24” x 32”. CONDITION: Relined, restored with inpainting. Very good. 9-28071 (15,000-25,000)
