The Fairbanks scale is self-contained in a 15” x 27” x 10” box with its original padlock and key. A similar scale pictured in a Civil War photograph copy is accompanying. Scale appears complete and operational, box constructed of wood is, the device is constructed of wood and metal parts painted black complete with four carrying handles and original clasp with original padlock.
