CONFEDERATE SECOND NATIONAL FLAG. 57” on fly by 35” high flag constructed entirely of wool bunting with exception of leading edge which is 1-1/2” sleeve made from cotton. Flag is 100% hand sewn. Flag is accompanied by letters of authenticity of Howard Madaus and Textile Preservation Associates (Fonda Thomsen). CONDITION: Fine, exhibiting little or no wear. Minor insect damage is found scattered on flag, there are 5 approximate 1” holes as can be seen in photograph that do not diminish ascetics of this flag.
