LOT OF 2 MUSIC CANDY CONTAINERS Includes 1) Inkwell phonograph, ca. 1920. Beveled glass edges, embossed handle, glass arm holds gold tin horn. Tin record covers inkwell. Record marked “Home Sweet Home, be it ever so humble. There is no place like home”. Gold tin slide-on closure. 2) Tune In Radio, ca. 1925. Sloped cabinet marked “Tune In” below 3 knobs and 3 dials. Inside marked w/ “V” over “G” logo with “J’Net,PA”. Glass integral horn, red tin closure. SIZE: 1) 2-3/4″ sq. x 4-3/4″ t overall. 2) 2-3/4″ x 4-1/2″ t x 1-3/4″ d. CONDITION: 1) Good to very good. Tin closure exhibits some rust and pitting, some minor wear around base, 1/4″ chip to front panel, horn may be repainted. 2) Some crazing to inside, otherwise very good.
