ROSEWOOD MARINE BAROMETER WITH IVORY SCALES BY HUMPHRIES, HARTLEPOOL. Stick type barometer having brass shaped reservoir, rosewood square shaft with domed top. The center shaft has a mercurial thermometer. The ivory scales No. 27-31 have adjusting moving slide with scales 1 to 10. Left ivory scale register with (Stormy, Much Rain, Rain, Change, Fair, Set Fair, Very Dry). Maker’s name and location are at top ivory. Brass gimbal and mounting present (probably a replacement).
