OUTSTANDING CARVED AND PAINTED SHIP MODEL OF THE U.S.S. BELFAST. The Belfast, a turbine screw steamer, was built in Bath, Maine in 1909 and removed from service in 1935. Sister ship of the S.S. Camden. Model shows a three deck ship painted white with red and white hull. Two masts with two stacks. It was owned by the Eastern Steamship Co. Comes on wood base. Accompanied by a photograph of the Captain on deck with other people. Also descriptive literature. SIZE: On stand is 24” h x 3’ l. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96838 (6,000-7,000)
