NEEDLEWORK SAMPLER BY ANTONIO DEL ECOUNAELANO, 1833. The square needlework has outside border with alphabet and other words including name and date. The non-directional border can be seen upright by moving the sampler around. Inside field is much the same way. Pictures include deer, fountain, chair, hear crest, flowers, animals, tree and birds. Nice coloration of blue, green, silver and gold. Housed in a silvered molded wood frame. SIGHT SIZE: 13” sq. CONDITION: Very good. 9-25147 (500-1,000)
