16 1/2” MANDOLINE-FORTISSIMO MUSIC BOX

16 1/2” MANDOLINE-FORTISSIMO MUSIC BOX 12 tune cylinder music box in a bird’s eye box with inlay and banding with black borders and brass handles on both ends. Brass plaque on top says “W. FIRBANK” and under that is “THE GRANGE”. Mother of pearl and brass inlay around brass plaque. SIZE: Case is 32” w x 9” h x 12” d. CONDITION: Bale handle is missing on one end of the case, the other is fully intact. Music box has been restored, but needs damper work. Has a loud brilliant tone. Tune card in lid is damaged around edges, but lists 12 tunes. 1-584 (2,000-2,500)
