Oval watercolor shoulder length portrait shows a girl with black hair in curls wearing a gold necklace and earring and black dress with lace trim. Back paper, which appears to be original to the frame, is a German newspaper and an 1870 issue of the Pittsburgh Gazette. Signed lower left with what appears to be “A. Wagner __”. Housed in a period gesso decorated oval frame with gold paint. SIZE: SIGHT: 21″ x 17″. CONDITION: Good. 9-91026 (250-400)
