CHINESE EXPORT THREE PIECE SOUP TUREEN. 18th/19th century. The pedestal strap handle oval tureen has matching underliner and cover. All decorated with a salmon, gilt and iron red border and inner border. An iron red lion head with banner above “fac.recte.nil.tine”. The cover having a large mushroom type finial and leaves, monogrammed with a gold “ h”. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection. SIZE: Underliner is 13-1/2” x 10-1/2”; Tureen with cover is 10-1/2” h x 14-1/2”l x 9”w. CONDITION: Some gold rub to edges. Very good. 9-72600 (3,000-5,000)
