FINE MAINE REDWARE GLAZED COVERED JAR. Cylinder shaped jar with beveled neck and flat rim has a wonderful greenish glaze with red speckling inside and out. Matching cover has small round finial. A wonderful piece of Maine redware. PROVENANCE: Ex-Ross Levett. SIZE: 8” h x 6-1/4” dia. CONDITION: Very good. 9-27562 (1,000-1,500)
